Welcome To My Garden

I have a little garden,
It is beautiful to view.
What makes it dearer to my heart
Is that the critters like it too.

The butterflies love flowers,
The jays prefer the trees,
Hummingbirds search for nectar,
And the clover's for the bees.

A squirrel sits scolding on a branch;
The garter snake's in the grass.
A cricket's chirping somewhere near,
And a chipmonk scurries past.

Welcome to my garden, friends,
Stop by and rest a while.
No one will disturb you here,
And I promise you a smile.
