Turn your head!!! Quick!!!
Pretend you didn't see!
Someone may harm someone else
But it don't pertain to me...

I can't upset my applecart,
involve myself, choose sides...
It's not my problem, don't you see?
I have to close my eyes.

I have to close my ears too,
Can't hear those cries of pain.
If I didn't see the ambush,
If I block it from my brain,

Then I can just be neutral,
Neither here nor there.
Maybe It'll just go away--
